Cairo: Egypt’s Ministry of Youth, Volunteer Network Egypt and the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme is organizing the launching of “Cairo Guide for Volunteers” for International Volunteer Day on 9 December 2004 at the Cairo International Convention & Exhibition Center in Egypt.

With the theme “Develop your career, volunteer for your community”, volunteer-involving organizations, private companies and universities in Egypt are organizing several workshop sessions aimed increasing awareness on the benefits of volunteering. There will be workshops on “volunteerism and job opportunities” for students and young people; volunteer management and the “ role of educational institutions in promoting volunteerism”.
