Preamble:

This post is a United Nations Volunteers assignment and based on the values of free will, commitment, engagement and solidarity, which are the foundations of volunteerism. Duty station, Country:  Cairo, Egypt   

Host Agency: Vodafone Foundation

Description of Duties: 

In collaboration with the UNDP and the Vodafone Foundation, the Project Coordinator will undertake, but not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:

-Support knowledge building and knowledge sharing between UNDP, Vodafone Foundation, and NGOs

-Organise for the Monitoring and Evaluation trainings

-Implement and follow-up on the Monitoring and Evaluation system

-Coordinate and prepare for the capacity building component for NGOs and BOTs

-Collect data and provide reports for both UNDP and Vodafone Foundation

-Provide adequate material to the media to help raise awareness on the ongoing activities

-Complete as required performance appraisal and UNV periodic reports (Initial, Annual and Final).

-Promote the spirit of Volunteerism through participation in UNV meetings, activities, and events

-Conduct regular field visits to the schools

-Attend the capacity building sessions in consultancy with Vodafone Foundation and UNDP

-Any other duties as requested
